Harun KIR

Postdoctoral researcher at ENS de Lyon

My research spans algebraic geometry, arithmetic geometry, number theory, and isogeny-based cryptography. I work at the Unité de Mathématiques Pures et Appliquées at ENS de Lyon, France, in Benjamin Wesolowski’s team.

Research interests

Algebraic & arithmetic geometry
and number theory

My interests in algebraic geometry and number theory include curves of genus 1 and 2, abelian varieties, Shimura curves, integral quadratic forms, arithmetic intersection numbers, and bad reductions. My work on refined Humbert invariants relates the geometry of genus 2 curves to the arithmetic of quadratic forms.

Isogeny-based
cryptography

My current research at ENS de Lyon focuses on isogeny-based post-quantum cryptography, with a particular interest in higher-dimensional aspects.
